One of these days I might draw a younger version of Dr Stone (iv actually been thinking about it since I first made him LMAO but someday someday smhhh) but his youth? Well he had a shid ton of ex wives NDHHDHD- he’s not very good at keeping relationships smhh but he wasn’t always this bitter (well- still kinda was-)

ANYWAY Harvey Bazaar! The firefly! Not really meant to be a puppet-able muppet, just a old man ya would see occasionally on posters and mentioned on a scrap of a newspaper smhhh (or see him in the faaaaaaar distance in his home riding Shelly to their next destination)

He’s a traveling merchant! Sells lil goods he makes while traveling (from trinkets to food- mans literally got it all, all made by him) however he’s very passionate with his hat making! (Only does custom orders! Last time he made too many hats he lost them all in a river from a really bad storm- was a very sad day for him smhh)

A jolly old passionate man who’s determination and happiness couldn’t be beat,,, even after all these years, he still wants to travel all over the world

me when i pick an incredibly depressed and absolutely destroyed by life character as my fav/comfort character and the moment i draw them i feel the need to explode because i can only handle so much angst (it's not even that much)

anyway ummmm not much about this drawing, i kinda drew it bc i had a very sudden idea something about embracing your inner child

i also needed to draw someone hugging someone else as some form of comfort for myself idkk

also ignore that the anatomy is really really funky you'd think that after 8 years i'd know how anatomy works but low behold i'm still terrible at it :"D (also i don't understand the proportions of an 8 year old so kid stan ended up looking a little older than he's supposed to be but eh)

MINE SPECIFICALLY)

YESSSSSS I AM SO EXCITED FOR EVERYONE ON ENG, chapter 5 is some of the most PEAK Diafamily content imo. 🤌 it's definitely my favorite part of episode 7 so far! (though 6 is pretty close...)

some (mostly) non-spoilery advice: on the hex maps, check out the non-required story cells, especially in the later parts! some are basically just throwaways, but there's some real good scenes hidden in there too that are potentially missable. 🥄 (it shows which cells you've cleared on previous attempts, so if you're low on resources and/or super impatient like me, do just the required ones to get through it, then when you're ready go back and restart as necessary to get to the others. enjoy! >:)

Do u have tips on drawing someones likeness. Like so their face to actually look like them.

oooooh anon this is a really good question, and one i am always struggling with haha. likeness is such a hard thing to get right!! first things first and this is what i always say: reference is ur best friend. gather what u can from wherever u can. get more than u think u need. look at the person from different angles, take note of spacing between facial features and the very rough shapes of those features. when i start trying to draw someone i try to focus on proportions and shapes first!

so like rn im trying to draw all these guys. u know these guys and how they look. i dont usually do this but for sake of explanation here’s a visual of what im thinking of…. i have my ref and then i try to break it down to a simpler version in my head so i dont immediately get caught up in details. doing a quick sketch over ur ref can also be helpful, u can feel/see the proportions and shapes clearer!

is this anything….. i dont feel like im super great at capturing likeness lol its always something i struggle with. the more u look at and draw ur guys the more familiar u will become with their weird faces and the easier it will be
